Day 1:
At Singapore Airport
Reach Bangkok pretty early on the first day since the flight was 7:15am. Lucky, there were rooms available for early check in.
We book Amari Watergate Hotel this time rather than the usual BaiYoke Sky Hotel that we always do. We had 2 Grand Deluxe rooms at Level 26.

After checking in we headed for drinks at the lobby before setting off for the SHOPPING SPREE!
The first place we cruised to was Platinum Fashion Mall just opposite our hotel. Went to 711 to get our prepaid phone cards and had our lunch there. If you don't know where to eat, try Platinum Fashion Mall food court at Level 6, they offer a wide spread of food there. Its nice and you should try :) The oyster omelette, seafood omelette, tom yum goong, duck rice, etc are delicious. http://www.platinumfashionmall.com/V1/index.htm
After lunch, we took almost 6 hours to scrutinize the place. 6 hours but it wasn't sufficient for us to complete all levels. We only manage to shop 3 to 4 levels!
We were carrying many plastic bags on our hands, thus we returned to the hotel rooms to put our stuffs before heading out for dinner at Chinatown.
I don't remember the name of the stall, but I can recognize it. Been there the 2nd time already. The food is uber nice! Since I don't remember the name of the stall I patronize, you can only envy and drool over the thought of the nice food. Sorry! :D haha.
You know la, Chinatown provides lots and lots of seafood and bird nest. You can probably guess what we had for dinner don't you? The stall we patronize - yes it is a road side stall, but no because they also have a restaurant across the street at level 2 with air con and we had our dinner there instead of the typical road side one that was available. Its more hygiene don't you think?
I'm drooling when I'm looking at these pictures. It may not look appetizing but I can assure you that it is VERY yummlicious!

After our dinner we also had bird nest at the other stall.
Headed back Pratunam shopped abit and had massage. :) Massage is a MUST thing that you must do at Thailand and I heart.
Day 2:
Woke up early and had complimentary breakfast at the hotel. Subsequently we took a cab over to Chatuchak also call Weekend Market.

Shopping at Chatuchak is quite a tedious and challenging task I would say, since you know the weather there at Thailand. Its oh my f god, scorching HOT. But unexpectedly, it started drizzling. Have you been to Thailand and it is raining? It's my first time. Anyway when it started to drizzle, it wasn't that hot already. Phew!
We shopped at Chatuchak for 3 hours then returned back to the hotel. Reagan, Jenny boyfriend and I had our light lunch at the cafe in the hotel. We had cakes and fruit juice.
We went for swimming before we took a shower and set off for the night's plan.

Our initial plan was to go Erawan 4 Face Buddha, but it started POURING while we were on the cab, thus we decided make a turn over to Suan Lam night bazaar instead. However, when we reach our destination, it was FLOODING badly. Most of the shops were closed. We then had our dinner there and prayed that the rain would stop right after dinner so it wouldn't impede our shopping trip.
We had our dinner at this restaurant call Safari Steak. Well, to our dismay the steak wasn't that great. I would say pretty lousy. On the other hand, we love the Garlic bread. I also have to compliment that their service is great, when we actually feedback to them that the steak aren't that good, they gave us a complimentary Pork Rib. I didn't eat because I don't like ribs, but the rest said it was good. :)
It was too dark, my uncle was trying to read the menu under the spot light. Haha.

After dinner, it kinda of stopped raining, the floor still wet though but not flooding like about an hour ago! We started shopping then. Yea, it was turning late already thus we didn't manage to comb the entire Suan Lam. Reagan bought a vintage player at a good deal and he is super satisfy with his buy. I could see the excited expression on him, he looks so happy la! haha. The player is so interesting because I've never seen it in real before! LOLX.

After Suan Lam, we had massage at Pratunam before we ended the day.
I realized that there were condoms provided in the hotel room. OMG. Jenny boyfriend and Reagan already notice it before I did. I think I am slow.
Day 3:
Woke up early and had complimentary breakfast at the hotel again.
After our breakfast, we shopped around Pratunam. Also went to level 4 of Baiyoke Sky but it was closed.
Jenny boyfriend and I headed for A&W in the afternoon for lunch :D
Oie don't say I am shorter than the bear ok! He cheated because he is standing on a platform, and I wasn't! Look properly!!

Jenny boyfriend and I headed back to Platinum Fashion Mall to continue our shopping that we didn't complete on the first day. This time we took a shorter time to finish 3 levels. I think we took approximately 3 hours.
Our next destination was Siam. Met Steven uncle and Gina aunt there because they went to Erawan 4 Face Buddha.

Little Siam, this is a stretch of shops. Most people always miss this lane. Its located right at the back of Siam. Its opposite Siam Discovery Centre. Just at the bridge.
We also went to Siam square, etc . . . Also to the place that Lawrence abandon me last year! LOLX. After that we cross the bridge over to MBK.
Steven uncle has his clothes tailored so we waited there. They offer quite alot of designs of shirts there. I like the design :)
Aunt, uncle, Jenny boyfriend and I then took Tuk Tuk back to the hotel.
We took a shower and then doll up for the night's iterary. It was rainning when we left for dinner.
We headed to Baiyoke Sky Hotel; Stella Palace at Level 79 for buffet dinner. Too bad we reach there too late, the Peking duck was all out. :(
Last year me, Lawrence and his family went there so early, we ate so much Peking duck and its worth the money!!!
After dinner we went to Level 83 and the pictures of the night views. I didn't take alot of shots though.
It was still drizzling then, we carried on with clubbing at Bed Supper Club located at Sukhumvit Soi 11. This club was recommended by my eldest sister. She loves it! Anyway, it was pretty fun there, but I guess we were too stiff. We just sat at level 2 and drink, didn't dance too. There was an montly exclusive event held there that night. It was quite wild and daring. Haha, I think Jenny boyfriend got a shock of life and well was it an eye opener for her? Haha. Anyway, they are having men's exotic dance! Don't get me wrong, Bed Supper Club is not one of those dirty clubs. Its a high class club where the richer society at Bangkok would visit, example their actresses and actors. The entrance fee is 600 THB, around SGD 26, inclusive of 2 free drinks. I think my eldest sister miss the fun! She would love to be there!!!

We left the club around 1+am, which is Singapore 2+am. Then went back to the hotel, showered and turned in.

Day 4:
We skipped complimentary breakfast and sleep late. Check out from the hotel at 1pm.
The last day is always meant for the last minute shopping! But before we do that we had our lunch at Baiyoke Sky lobby. The food there is good especially their Tom yum soup so its a MUST GO OK? :)

After lunch we went to level 4 Baiyoke Sky to shop alittle. Though there aren't many shops but you can still get good buys. Mostly for guys like T-shirts. Its different from what you see outside because they design themselves.
It was rainning again, we were stuck at Baiyoke Sky. When the rain started to get smaller, we took a Tuk Tuk over to Platinum Fashion Mall. Reagan wanted to get some food.
Met Gina aunt at Platinum Fashion Mall then took a Tuk Tuk back to Baiyoke. We had massage at Pratunam again. After the massage it was rainning again. We had a hard time walking back to the hotel.
Back at our hotel, there was a performance going on.
We collected our stuffs and took a cab to the airport. Our flight was at 9:15pm. When we reach Singapore it was already like 1am here.

I change a total of 630 SGD and used them all up. Seriously 630 is not enough, I know I use to spend more than this.
